About The Position

Magna is seeking a Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment in Liberty, Missouri. The role cleans and maintains plant and office areas while supporting facility safety and housekeeping standards. No previous janitorial experience is required. Starting pay is $20.70 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour C-shift premium. Benefits are available from day one. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 5:15 AM to 3:45 PM, and Sunday and Monday from 5:15 PM to 3:45 AM. Some overtime may be required. The position involves working in general factory and office environments and outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to operate a floor scrubber or willingness to learn.
Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Dependable and able to maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility.
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
Ability to bend, lift, and kneel.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in a general factory and office environment.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain production areas, offices, break areas, and restrooms.
Sweep, mop, disinfect, and sanitize work areas.
Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
Operate a floor scrubber daily.
Clean plant equipment as needed.
Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
Respond to spills and other workplace hazards using appropriate cleaning equipment.
Properly handle and dispose of contaminated waste according to established safety procedures.
Maintain janitorial supplies and equipment in clean, working condition.
Follow required PPE, safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
