Requirements

• Ability to comprehend basic written and oral instructions.
• Internal and external customer service skills.

• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly working area to maximize efficiency.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
• Previous experience in custodial field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition of duties that involve a combination of sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
• Responsible for the overall care of the building and the grounds and following proper cleaning procedures.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, empty trash around the different areas of the building on a daily basis.
• Use various equipment utilized in the process of daily housekeeping tasks, such as operate floor buffer machine and scrubber machine to clean rugs around the building.
• Clean glass of all doorways and entrances to offices.
• Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after cleaning offices.
• Notify management of need for repairs when necessary.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
