About The Position

CCS Facility Services is hiring a part-time Janitor in Surprise, Arizona. The role is responsible for keeping the workplace clean, organized, and disinfected. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The position involves cleaning building interiors and common areas, maintaining restrooms, handling trash and recycling, replenishing cleaning supplies, and reporting unsafe or maintenance-related conditions. The employee must follow safety procedures and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment may occasionally involve moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, electrical-shock risk, and vibration; noise is usually moderate. Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
Follow instructions and management direction, take responsibility for actions, keep commitments, and complete tasks on time or notify the appropriate person of an alternate plan.
Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, and use equipment and materials properly.

Responsibilities

Clean building interiors, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls, and other areas.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Remove stains from chairs and upholstered furniture.
Dust furniture, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings.
Empty and clean trash cans and ashtrays.
Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies there and elsewhere as required.
Wash and clean windows and mirrors.
Empty trash and recycling containers and take them to the disposal area.
Remove trash and snow from sidewalks when necessary.
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials from supervisors when applicable.
Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or conditions requiring maintenance.
Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
Follow safety and precautionary rules.
Close doors at the end of the night shift.
