About The Position

Environmental Services Technicians are responsible for keeping KETCH properties and facilities clean and attractive by providing general cleaning of offices, work areas, hallways, kitchens, and restrooms. This role involves cleaning, vacuuming, scrubbing, dusting, disposing of trash, maintaining adequate supplies, following safety procedures, completing accurate and timely documentation, ensuring facilities are secure, and assisting with snow and ice removal as needed. This is a part-time position with morning hours, offering an opportunity to work independently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of safe and proper use of custodial equipment, materials, and chemicals
  • Must have a stable work history
  • Able to work independently
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ total body weight, whichever is less

Nice To Haves

  • Previous janitorial experience preferred
  • Cleaning, janitor, custodian, floor technician, housekeeping experience is beneficial
