This position involves performing routine cleaning of site facilities and maintaining the grounds of ROTHR facilities. It requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance, with U.S. citizenship being a prerequisite. The role is based Onsite in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Applicant must have a minimum of six months combined practical Grounds Maintenance and Janitor experience.
Applicant must have the ability to comprehend and carry out the instructions outlined in written procedures with little supervision.
If employed for RTX in excess of 12 months, the selected candidate must be able to qualify as a Registered Technician for State Certified Pesticide Applicator.
Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record to obtain authorization to drive company vehicles.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Current Registered State Pesticide Applicator.
Previous or active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of all areas of the site facilities.
Perform janitorial tasks to maintain sanitary conditions including, but not limited to floor buffing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash, and wall/window/bathroom/furniture cleaning.
Maintain the grounds of the ROTHR facilities.
Duties also include cutting grass, trimming hedges, edging, pruning shrubs, planting grass, spreading fertilizer, and application of pesticides.
Candidate will perform all other related duties as assigned and required.
