About The Position

We are hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. No prior experience is necessary as we will provide training. This role is ideal for individuals eligible for the AbilityOne Program, which offers employment opportunities and services to adults with disabilities. The position involves maintaining cleanliness in commercial buildings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for occupants.

• Hearing protection provided when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Check in with supervisor and teammates to go over the cleaning plan.
• Gather cleaning supplies such as mops, brooms, vacuums, and disinfectants.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Take out the trash and replace bags.
• Clean restrooms and refill supplies.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, doors, and other surfaces.
• Dust furniture, shelves, and vents.
• Wipe windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Perform a final walk-through to ensure cleanliness.
• Return tools and supplies to the storage area.
