As a Jacket Operator, you play a key role in the manufacturing process by operating equipment that applies tubing material to cable products according to production requirements. Your work helps ensure cable orders are completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with established standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or WAGE Industrial Certificate.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 100 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in a hot environment.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Nice To Haves

Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate jacketing equipment to apply the correct tubing material to cable products.
Follow all specifications and requirements outlined in production routers.
Complete cable orders accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to all plant and position-specific safety requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area through proper housekeeping (5S) practices.
Support production objectives and perform additional duties as assigned.
