About The Position

Performs a variety of operational functions that constitute the production, inspection, and distribution of products or services for customers. This role requires adherence to safety policies, quality standards (ISO), and company work rules. The operator is responsible for maintaining a clean work area, demonstrating good work ethics, and following work orders or procedural instructions. Quality assurance checks are a key part of the role, ensuring all work meets specifications. The ability to meet production standards within a reasonable time is expected.

Requirements

Must possess an education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments and responsibilities of the job.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.
Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
Ability to use machinery/equipment required to accomplish a given job assignment.
Ability to work effectively, courteously and respectively with co-workers and other personnel.

Assures that all work assigned to position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of their job functions.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Willingness to work in a wet environment.
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested for successful completion of the mission of Norris Cylinder.
