About The Position

The Jack Driver keeps the production line supplied with raw products, work-in-process (WIP), materials, and ingredients. The role operates a pallet jack and requires pallet jack certification. Responsibilities also include moving dirty tubs and lids to the tub room for washing or to the cooler for storage, and scanning incoming product pallets into the EIM system. Team members must maintain attendance points below 6 to remain in the position; those exceeding the limit will be demoted to an available position in the facility. The role is performed inside the facility in noisy, wet conditions with wet floors, moving objects, mechanical and electrical hazards, and sanitizing solutions. Lighting is adequate. Days per week and hours per day vary, and the position works frequent Saturdays. Pay is $17.40 per hour. The position is on first shift at the Berry St Plant.

Requirements

Pallet jack certification.
At least 3 months of food industry production experience within the last 2 years, which may be combined across employers, listed on the application.
Ability to identify products for proper storage and retrieval.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Former Tyson Foods team members must observe a 180-day waiting period.
No more than two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.

Responsibilities
