About The Position

The Jack Driver is responsible for keeping the production line supplied with raw product, work-in-progress, materials, and ingredients. The position operates a pallet jack and supplies the line with pallets of raw product. It also involves taking dirty tubs and lids to the tub room for washing or to the cooler for storage, and scanning incoming product pallets into the EIM system. The role requires maintaining attendance points below 6 to remain in the position; team members who exceed that threshold will be demoted to an available position in the facility. Work is performed inside the facility in noisy, wet conditions, with moving objects, mechanical and electrical hazards, and sanitizing solutions. Days per week and hours per day vary.

Requirements

Have pallet jack certification.
Have 3 months of food industry production experience within the last 2 years; experience may be combined across employers and must be listed on the application.
Be able to identify products for proper storage and retrieval.
Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Former Tyson Foods team members must observe a 180-day waiting period, and applicants with more than two previous Tyson employments will not be considered.
The position is intended for team members currently working at this facility or complex.

Responsibilities

Keep the production line supplied with raw product, work-in-progress, materials, and ingredients as needed.
Operate a pallet jack to deliver pallets of raw products to the line.
