About The Position

The Indirect Jack Driver operates powered material-handling equipment in a fast-paced cooler environment. The role involves labeling, organizing, and aligning pallets and requires specialized training and certification in pallet jack and forklift operation. The work environment is cold and damp, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

At least 3 months of operator experience listed on the application; experience may be combined across employers.
Must become certified in pallet jack and forklift operation.
Must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson’s safety culture.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees.
Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ lbs; Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs.
The work requires constant standing, walking, and riding powered material-handling equipment.
Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
