About The Position

This position is responsible for moving pallets of product and labeling pallets correctly. The role requires training on and operating a jack, passing a jack driving test, and performing additional line functions when necessary. The job may require lifting boxes up to 70 pounds and cleaning the jack, reporting any malfunctions. The work environment involves exposure to cold conditions ranging from 34 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit and requires extensive walking. Hearing protection and other personal protective equipment are mandatory.

Requirements

• Must possess at least 6 months receiving, and/or Material Handling, and/or forklift experience with at least one employer within the last 2 years.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Train on driving a jack
• Operate a jack
• Pass jack driving test
• Move pallets of product
• Label pallets correctly
• Perform additional line functions when necessary
• Lift boxes up to 70 pounds
• Clean jack
• Report if jack is not working correctly
• All other duties assigned by the supervisor
