About The Position

The J33 Battlewatch Support Analyst supports a high-priority Special Operations mission by monitoring ongoing operations, tracking personnel and force movements, and coordinating critical information across the command. The role helps maintain situational awareness, prepare operational reports, and communicate significant events and incidents to senior leadership in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment alongside military and government personnel. The position supports mission readiness, emergency response, command and control, and Continuation of Operations (COOP) training or real-world contingency missions. It may require prolonged travel to an alternate or contingency command-and-control location during real-world events. The position is contingent on contract award, with an expected start date of December 1, 2026.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance.
Experience in military operations, intelligence operations, command and control, or watch floor operations.
Familiarity with Special Operations Forces (SOF) and combatant command structures.
Experience preparing and disseminating operational reports, including SITREPs, PERSTATs, OPSUMs, and CCIR notifications.
Ability to monitor, track, and report personnel movements, operational activities, and significant incidents.
Proficiency with NIPR and SIPR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies, coordinate notifications, and provide accurate information to senior leadership.
Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate in support of contingency operations and emergencies.
Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be subject to a security investigation.

Responsibilities

Provide a 24/7, 365-day-per-year team serving as the command’s central notification and data-source center for crises and other significant, non-routine events.
Maintain the Battlewatch section with 100% compliance; personnel from other sections may be used to fill Battlewatch vacancies.
Prepare and execute routine daily reports documenting current SOCCENT operations, personnel, and SOF laydown.
Create, update, and disseminate daily reports, including SITREPs, DEPREPs, consolidated PERSTAT, J3 force laydown brief, OPSUM, CCIR notifications, and the daily ops primer.
Maintain accurate daily records of personnel traveling within the AOR in NIPR and SIPR databases.
Track and maintain the daily key leader location product and disseminate it across the SOCCENT enterprise.
Document initial 5Ws reports for CCIRs, serious incidents, disasters, and other events; provide accurate information regarding potential victims and coordinate with subordinate commands and commanders in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Submit timely incident reports to the J3 and other SOCCENT leadership, including the Chief of Staff and Commander, and to CENTCOM/SOCOM as required.
Notify command leadership with 100% compliance regarding potential events, including personal emergencies, physical security matters, natural disasters, and emergency or military contingencies.
Support the planning and execution of SOCCENT COOP training and real-world contingency missions.
During emergency situations, report location, status, and well-being to the COR; emergency situations may involve displacement.
