About The Position

Ivy Tech - Bloomington is seeking a part-time Ivy Arts for Kids Assistant to support youth arts camps. The assistant will help instructors with classroom activities, foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for students in grades 1–5, and may assist with social media content and camp marketing. This role operates under the direction of the Ivy Tech Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) Staff and Faculty, ensuring a safe and seamless experience for campers while adhering to Protection of Minors policy guidelines.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Comfortable working with students Ages 5-11
• Able to communicate well with parents and other adults
• Timely and professional

Responsibilities

• Help Ivy Arts for Kids camps (Grades 1-5) operate within the Protection of Minors policy guidelines and create a positive learning environment for students.
• Assist with classroom management during sign-in/sign-out processes.
• Offer assistance as needed with instruction during camp.
• Help instructors with classroom prep/clean-up.
• Contribute content to camp marketing efforts for the Center for Lifelong Learning’s social media feeds.
