About The Position
The YMCA of Middle TN is seeking a dedicated UPDATED - ITS Support Tech I to join their dynamic team. In this frontline role, the individual will help keep technology running smoothly, supporting staff, members, and the mission of the YMCA every day. This role offers a mix of office-based and on-site work at branches, with opportunities to travel and support different locations.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—able to relate to people from all backgrounds.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite and troubleshooting computer systems.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum Age: 21
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments.
- Elevated security permissions and compliance with information security standards are required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Respond to help desk requests and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
- Support audio/visual setups for meetings and events.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Participate in the ITS On-Call Rotation Support Team, providing after-hours and weekend support.
