About The Position

Responsible for assisting members with financial transactions and functions through the ITM. This role involves maintaining superior member service, accurately posting transactions, and educating members on ITM operation. The ITM Express Teller will handle various transactions, balance multiple platforms daily, and ensure the seamlessness of member interactions. They are also responsible for the overall functions of Express Central, including submitting insurance checks, endorsements, suspicious items, and large transaction amounts for supervisor approval. Collaboration with staff, branches, and departments is key to serving members effectively. The position requires in-depth knowledge of RRCU products and services, with opportunities for cross-selling. Compliance with regulatory and CTR requirements, awareness of suspicious situations, and reporting issues within the ITM/ATM fleet are also crucial. Adherence to Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures is mandatory, along with performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year or more of experience in a financial institution or a credit union, working in a teller or member service position.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • Competent computer skills and use of standard office equipment, ITM/ATM hardware/software.
  • Comfortable on camera.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate with members and employees regarding services, policies, and procedures.
  • Exemplifies a professional demeanor. Must be friendly, helpful, attentive, and reliable.
  • Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
  • Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Must be organized, accurate and proficient in preforming job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Patiently educating and instructing members on how to operate the ITM.
  • Assisting members with deposits, withdrawals, check entries, and cash withdrawals along with other functions through the ITM. Accurately post and balance transactions on multiple platforms daily while making the member interaction seamless.
  • Overall functions of Express Central. Appropriately submit for supervisor approval insurance checks, endorsements, suspicious items, check hold exceptions and large transaction amounts.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, branches, and departments in the best interest of serving members effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of RRCU products and services to provide information and answer member questions. Cross-sell products and services as appropriate.
  • Ensures proper reconciliation within the ITM platform and personal drawer.
  • Compliance with regulatory and CTR requirements.
  • Aware and attentive to suspicious situations or potential fraudulent items. Takes the lead in handling difficult situations and/or members.
  • Reporting issues or problems within the ITM/ATM fleet. Maintains a working understanding of operations and functionality of the hardware and software.
  • Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
