About The Position

Valmet is seeking an Item Specialist with knowledge of Item Data Management and an analytical mindset to join its Global Supply Item Data Management team. The role supports the quote-to-delivery process by ensuring item data consistency and quality. The position offers a challenging, fast-paced, dynamic work environment that values innovation and development. Applicants must be living in the United States and authorized to work in the US. Employment offers are contingent upon a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen. International relocation is not available.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business administration, or other relevant experience.
Fluent in English.
Customer-oriented team player with strong communication skills.
Analytical, improvement-driven, and self-motivated.
Ability to utilize technical documentation.
Experience with PDM/PLM and/or Infor LN, or other engineering or ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Must be living in the US and authorized to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

Experience in or knowledge of master data management.
Knowledge of Valmet or technical products.
Willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and control the lifecycle of item data daily in Valmet systems according to Item Data Management processes.
Collaborate with a network of business professionals to facilitate efficient end-to-end process cycle times.
Monitor item data quality and take corrective actions.
Contribute to the development of new item data-related concepts and strategies.
