About The Position

The ITAD Operations Lead will process production material in accordance with written instructions, serve as a mentor, instructor, and area liaison, and provide updates and recommendations to the area supervisor on team member performance. This role involves attending administrative production meetings, verifying production numbers, and communicating with various teams regarding order fulfillment status. The Lead will also assist with training, process improvement, production tracking, and product flow, while coaching ITAD Technicians to enhance efficiency, quality, compliance, safety, and value creation. Additionally, the position supports the ITAD Operations Supervisor with production processes and completes assigned projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months of ITAD and/or production experience
  • Advanced understanding of procedures, safety, quality, compliance, and data requirements within assigned processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience coaching and motivating team members
  • Forklift and/or pallet jack experience
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership, training, and coaching experience
  • Ability to prioritize account terms in a goal-oriented environment
  • Ability to effectively motivate and lead others
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with team assistance
  • Ability to stand and work for extended shifts exceeding 10 hours on occasion
  • Demonstrated ability to meet production rate, quality, compliance, and safety standards
  • Ability to use basic hand tools

Nice To Haves

  • ITAD production product flow and processing experience
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Spreadsheet and database design/enhancement experience
  • Advanced math skills
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, R2, ISO, and related standards
  • Leadership or supervisory training/education
  • Understanding of financial and operational metrics related to production areas
  • Knowledge of ITAD product grading and value determination

Responsibilities

  • Process production material in accordance with written instructions
  • Serve as a mentor, instructor, and area liaison
  • Provide updates and recommendations to area supervisor on team member performance, wins, and opportunities
  • Attend administrative production meetings
  • Verify production numbers for the department and submit requests for internal support services
  • Communicate in accordance with applicable procedures for non-compliances, near misses, accidents, and injuries
  • Communicate with Account Management and Sales team members from all divisions regarding order fulfillment status
  • Assist with training, process improvement, production tracking, and product flow
  • Coach ITAD Technicians to improve efficiency, quality, compliance, safety, and value creation
  • Support the ITAD Operations Supervisor with one or more production processes
  • Complete additional projects and duties as assigned
