About The Position

CooperVision Inc. seeks an IT WebCenter Functional Architect to evaluate, design, implement, and support global content management system projects throughout the Software Delivery Lifecycle process. This role involves driving continuous improvement within functional and software application processes, and providing functional and technical solutions by analyzing complex business problems. The architect will leverage Oracle E-Business Suite Adapter for Oracle UCM and Oracle I/PM, implement OCR-WebCenter form recognition for automating and integrating invoice imaging with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle and Baan), and manage/configure image applications. Additionally, the role includes building custom workflows in WebCenter for process control and proposing solutions to bridge the gap between business requirements and product functionalities. Ensuring new integrations meet end-user and interface specifications, and analyzing formal test results to resolve defects are also key responsibilities. This position may be performed 100% remotely from anywhere in the continental US.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
9 years of progressively responsible experience with Oracle EBS application implementation and upgrade projects.
Designing and developing software programs using Fusion middleware technologies for implementing Oracle Fusion financial applications.
6 years of experience with Oracle Financials using development tools and technologies including SOA BPEL, Oracle ADF, PL/SQL, SQL, and BPM workflows.
WebCenter implementation projects using Oracle Fusion middleware products, Oracle WebCenter Content imaging solution, Oracle WebCenter Imaging, Oracle Enterprise Capture, Oracle Form Recognition for AP and AR invoice processing and Finance and HR Application document storage and retrieval solutions.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, design, implement, and support global content management system projects throughout the Software Delivery Lifecycle process.

Leverage Oracle E-Business Suite Adapter for Oracle UCM and Oracle I/PM.
Implement OCR-WebCenter form recognition to automate and integrate invoice imaging with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle and Baan).
Manage and configure image applications.
Build a custom workflow in WebCenter for process control.
Propose solutions to bridge the gap between business requirements and product functionalities.
Ensure new integration meets end user and interface specifications.
Analyze formal test results to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, and configuration issues.
