About The Position

The responsibilities of the IT User Support role include aiding end users in effectively utilizing both hardware and software, as well as maintaining and monitoring computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance. This includes overseeing our ticketing system, providing initial support, and appropriately directing tickets to second-level support as necessary. Furthermore, the individual in this role will assist our IT manager with his daily tasks. This position involves responsibilities with elevated exposure to compliance risks, including potential corruption, fraud, and violations of TotalEnergies’ Code of Conduct. The role requires strict adherence to Hutchinson Internal Controls, ethical standards, active risk identification, and timely reporting of any suspected misconduct. Duties include applying compliance procedures, participating in mandatory ethics training, and ensuring proper due diligence in decision-making and interactions with third parties. Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows Desktop Environment.
  • Microsoft Windows Server Environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all applicable environmental, health and safety rules and procedures and immediately report all dangerous situations, near-misses, and injuries.
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for problem resolution.
  • Monitoring ticketing queue, support requests and documenting in system.
  • Assist the IT Manager
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged computer hardware.
  • Establishing good relationships with all clients and colleagues.
  • Managing technical documentation.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed descriptions of services performed while on a service call.
  • Applying compliance procedures, participating in mandatory ethics training, and ensuring proper due diligence in decision-making and interactions with third parties.
