About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Service Senior Specialist at our Atlanta, GA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAP’s business processes and improve work efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • SAP HANA Administration
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • SAP S/4HANA system and administration
  • SAP HANA Installation and Administration
  • SAP BTP - End-to-End Performance Analysis
  • AWS or Azure Hyperscaler Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve Complex issues in own area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects); Enhance complex systems/processes.
  • Represents SAP to customers: Communicates clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand.
  • Advocates for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors & usage patterns.
  • Promote the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies & practices and ability to integrate those into current and future development efforts.
  • Owns a specific IT Infrastructure service or a group of services during the whole service lifecycle.
  • Is in charge of the Infrastructure Operations portfolio and use Service Lifecycle methodology in Service Management tasks.
  • Ensures and optimizes service operation of services.
  • Monitors OLA and SLA compliance for the Service in scope.
  • Support 'early warning' process in regards to financial risk & opportunities.
  • Responsible for relevant reporting of the Service in scope on global level.
  • Escalates emerging customer dissatisfaction immediately to Management/Engagement Managers and aligns steps to tackle the problem.
  • Ensure Cross collaboration with other operations teams, including Service Coordination with the locations Vendor Contact for technical issues, related to operations.
  • Aligns with Controlling on all financial aspects of the service contract.
  • Align with Vendor Management Office on vendor relationship aspects of the service contract.
