About The Position

Calhoun is adding a Technician to our IT team who will provide support to almost 200 users. We are a top commercial construction services company with offices in Louisville and Lexington. Come join a growing company!

Requirements

• Positive and professional attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Microsoft Windows operating systems knowledge, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support
• Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1B status, O-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

• IT certifications
• Willingness to learn and support cloud services administration (e.g., VoIP, M365, security software)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Help Desk requests
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and document hardware, software, and connectivity issues; resolve incidents in a timely manner and escalate when needed
• Provide end-user training and day-to-day assistance while adhering to company policies, IT standards, and security requirements
• Configure and deploy computers and peripherals; install, update, and maintain approved software applications
• Maintain accurate IT equipment inventory
• Pursue ongoing training and professional development to improve technical skills and service delivery
• Represent the company professionally with a consistent commitment to quality and customer service
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
