The IT Technician works under the advisement of the Help Desk Manager to support computer hardware and software issues and resolve end user concerns relating to technology. This role involves assisting with the configuration and repair of computer hardware, deployment of new computers, and providing direct support to company employees for various computing problems and questions. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing on computer equipment, peripherals, data communication, and network systems. They will exercise professional judgment to determine the appropriate level of maintenance required for issue resolution and handle vendor warranty claims. Additionally, the role includes support for desktop and mobile phone systems, including troubleshooting and setup for new users. This position may require occasional work after hours and on weekends.
