About The Position

Bally's Chicago is a $1.7 billion integrated resort rising along the Chicago River. It features 500 hotel rooms, 50,000 square feet of convention space, a 3,000-seat entertainment venue, and a meetings and conventions campus. This role involves providing technical assistance and support to users, ensuring the security and integrity of systems, and maintaining workstations.

Requirements

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to users, including set up and configuration
  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 levels of Help Desk support, to include covering Help Desk phone, e-mail support requests and Help Desk tickets.
  • Ensure the security, backup, recovery and disaster recovery plans are followed
  • Sets up and maintains workstations including hardware/software configuration.
  • Coordinate computer repairs and software upgrades with end-users.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
