About The Position

We’re looking for an IT Technician who is passionate about technology, gadgets, and video games to help us tackle daily technical challenges and keep our digital world running smoothly. If solving technical issues fulfills you and you enjoy playing with large data sets, we want you on our team!

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent experience in IT / Technical support
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate across multiple departments
  • Ability and eagerness to learn and master a variety of IT tools
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs
  • Comfort working under desks for cable management
  • Ability to work on-site (in Old Montreal) 4 to 5 days per week.
  • Proficiency in both French and English to effectively communicate with diverse teams and vendors
  • Eligible applicants must be residents of the province of Quebec with working rights in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Windows and macOS laptops.
  • Manage mobile device testing for company devices
  • Assist with setup and troubleshooting of two-factor authentication (2FA).
  • Handle provisioning and decommissioning of devices and laptops.
  • Provide support to both remote and in-office employees.
  • Manage shipping and receiving of equipment for remote workers.
  • Provide user support for core business applications: Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar), Slack, Jira and Confluence (basic user access and troubleshooting), Okta (user access, password resets, MFA issues), MDM/PXE solutions (Iru, Opsi), Active Directory (user access for legacy systems).
  • Assist with version control system setup.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for wired and wireless networks.
  • Assist with VPN connectivity issues.
  • Support users with conference room technology.
  • Provide basic support for printers and peripherals.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware.
  • Track device assignments and returns.
  • Set up new hardware as needed.
  • Coordinate repairs and warranties with vendors.
  • Organize and label IT equipment storage.
  • Maintain technical documentation for common issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions.
  • Update asset management records.
  • Track support tickets and maintain resolution notes.
