About The Position

Performs duties in the IT Department primarily by installation, troubleshooting and configuration, repair and maintenance of all IT related systems and equipment. Responsible for periodic maintenance of equipment for malfunctions as well as installing and maintenance of Class II and Class III Electronic Systems of the Casino. This position will be scheduled 4:00pm - 12:00am.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond and communicate common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to IT Manager and Chief Executive Officer.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Basic computer skills required to include but not limited to completion of log sheets, shift communications and interdepartmental communications, and work order tracking.
  • Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow and give oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
  • High School Diploma
  • Two or more years of experience in computer operations or certification from technical school or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with the following: Windows Server operations, Activity Directory, DNS, DHCP, VoIP phone systems, POS solutions, Player Tracking Systems, Basic Routing and Switching, and A firm understanding in Basic Hardware and Ethernet Standards is required.
  • Able to obtain a Class III gaming license issued by the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
  • Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, alter and maintains detailed maintenance schedules for all Hardware and Software applications.
  • Assists in preparation and installation of software and peripheral devices.
  • Monitors and controls inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Applies and adheres to all administrative and organization internal controls to ensure continuous compliance within the enterprise.
  • Uses judgment and make decisions when faced with equipment failure, error conditions, and/or software problems.
  • Prepares for action by management recommendations for acquisition of newly developed, additional or replacement equipment.
  • Coordinates equipment/software installation and maintenance activities with operations to avoid disruption in IT communications and systems to ensure efficiency of operations.
  • Has access to sensitive areas only with presence of Security Officer where applicable.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Display sensitivity to Native American Culture.
  • Operate within the parameters of the Little Creek Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies and all other applicable regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • In the absence of management can directly supervise employees in communications. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
