Reporting and correcting safety hazards

Responsibilities

Adds, maintains, and deletes users on the network according to established guidelines.
Assists in the implementation and maintenance of network security.
Provides end-user technical support for hardware and software products.
Assists in writing and maintaining system documentation at both technical and user levels.
Performs backup and restore functions for local computers.
Sets up new hardware and software for end users according to company standards.
Maintains company-wide inventory of hardware and software.
Helps ensure corporate computer systems are running according to schedule.
Monitors systems for messages needing a reply and responds appropriately.
Assists in the implementation of new hardware and software.
Protects the network through virus protection software, obtaining and installing updates.
Assists in the installation of system upgrades and patches.
Actively supports Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
Immediately reports and corrects dangerous situations when able to do so safely.
Participates in all required Safety Training, meetings, and inspections.
Uses all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
