About The Position

We are seeking a Tier II IT Technician with strong experience in workstation support and a solid comfort level with networks, servers, and MSP environments. This role blends remote support, onsite troubleshooting, and hands-on implementation work. You’ll handle escalations from Tier I, perform deeper diagnostics, and assist with configuring and maintaining client infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT support experience, MSP experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, firewalls, DHCP, DNS).
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD/Entra, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Solid troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism with clients.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to client sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional industry certifications—Server+, Microsoft 365, Azure, or equivalent—are strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network issues (remote and onsite).
  • Support and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and file/permission structures.
  • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPNs.
  • Deploy, image, and configure workstations, laptops, and related hardware.
  • Assist with server builds, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
  • Document work clearly in the PSA system and follow internal processes.
  • Participate in client onboarding, network assessments, and environment documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to Tier I technicians.
  • Assist with staging, prepping, and organizing equipment as needed for project rollouts.
