About The Position

Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. KRS Division dba Kaydon Ring & Seal (“KRS”) is responsible for Aerospace and Industrial applications. KRS has a customer portfolio that includes all major players in the Aerospace and Industrial industries. Our business is fully customer focused, with products specifically designed for an engine/airframe application and then produced in small quantities and small lots on highly flexible equipment. Extreme product range fragmentation, complex product design, very high-quality standards and traceability requirements are the peculiarity of KRS. The IT Systems Specialist is responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, testing & evaluating existing network systems and for performing system & network maintenance. This position is operational in nature and is expected to maintain a regular on-site presence, serving as a trusted partner for the IT Department.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint management.
  • Experience supporting cloud services and virtualization platforms.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, backup solutions, and system monitoring tools.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to organize and prioritize work.
  • Time management skills to ensure that administrative tasks are completed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CMMC2.0

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, networking, and systems-related issues.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions and group policies within Microsoft Azure Active Directory and other cloud environments.
  • Monitor system performance, backups, security updates, and patch management processes.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment including switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless access points.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and support activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT operations and security posture.
  • Provide end-user training and technical guidance on newly implemented software, systems, and IT equipment to ensure effective adoption and operational efficiency.
  • Keep up-to-date with technological trends.
  • Work with IT counterparts across organization.
  • Resolve networking problems by identifying, diagnosing and resolving network problems.
