We believe technology is not just infrastructure — it is a catalyst for better care, stronger teams, and healthier communities. We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineering Manager to lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of our core IT infrastructure. This role bridges strategy and execution — providing technical leadership, people management, and architectural oversight across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

  • Bachelor's Degree, or 8+ years of equivalent hands-on IT Engineering/Management experience
  • Microsoft certifications required
  • 7+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure
  • 3+ years managing IT professionals
  • Microsoft enterprise environments (Azure AD/Entra ID, M365, Intune, Windows Server)
  • Cloud and hybrid infrastructure
  • Network infrastructure including wireless

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or other regulated environments
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, audit requirements, and a strong documentation mindset

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture of core systems including identity and access management, cybersecurity, servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, and disaster recovery.
  • Manage and develop a team of systems administrators and analysts — setting expectations, building skills, and serving as the technical escalation point for the team.
  • Own operational excellence by establishing standards for configuration, monitoring, patching, and change management, and by driving continuous improvement following incidents.
  • Deliver infrastructure projects by translating IT leadership priorities into executable engineering work, balancing project delivery with operational stability.
  • Champion security and compliance by enforcing secure configurations, least-privilege access, and supporting audits and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate broadly with Help Desk, EHR, Data Analytics, Facilities, Compliance, Programs, and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration.
