About The Position

We’ve built the highest-rated practice management software and we’re on track to become the market leader. We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer who has strong problem-solving capabilities. Under the supervision of the IT lead, you will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure components, improving internal automation tools, and helping to identify and resolve user-reported issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent) or higher degree
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer, System Administrator, or similar IT Support role
  • Experience maintaining and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), as well as deploying Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Tech savvy and comfortable with web apps including Slack, Google WorkSpace, Zoom Admin, Okta Admin, Microsoft InTune (Mobile Device Management), Windows Autopilot (Zero-Touch Deployment) and Identity lifecycle SaaS to ensure business runs smoothly
  • You should be able to use these tools with ease and be resourceful to troubleshoot any issues you have
  • Experience in technical quality assurance
  • Record and document results and compare to expected results
  • Great documentation and communication skills utilizing Notion
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

  • 75% of your time working with the Internal IT team on new initiatives and projects
  • 25% of your time maintaining IT Infrastructure and support requests
  • Maintaining and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
  • Deploying Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Creation, research, analysis, engineering and implementation of internal technical solutions that assist in increased employee productivity and result in better self-serve IT environment
  • AI Research & Advocacy: evaluating emerging AI tools, leading efforts to deploy solutions that improve workflows, and helping teammates incorporate AI into their day-to-day work
  • Analysis and implementation of current security and compliance controls specific to internal IT processes and systems to ensure HIPAA-compliant internal infrastructure
  • Create scripts and automations using programming languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
  • Create knowledge base for implemented solutions and provide education to all employees on new processes and technologies
  • Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS administration (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion)
  • On-call schedule to support our team members during off hours and weekends (1 weekend day every 2 weeks)
