About The Position

This role is for an IT Systems Engineer I with a minimum of 5-9 years of previous work experience in a related ITS area. The position requires comprehensive IT knowledge including computers, laptops, tablets, servers, mobile units, and virtual machine environments. A strong understanding of networks, including Network Switches, TCP/IP, and Packet Capture Software, is essential. The role also involves working with VMware and Microsoft Server environments, Microsoft SCCM, and Active Directory. Experience supporting O365, including Outlook and MS Teams, is required, as is experience investigating and resolving help desk service requests using help desk software. Experience in a manufacturing environment is necessary, along with an understanding of VLAN concepts and configuration, and the ability to use PowerShell commands. Familiarity with Wireless technologies (Aruba, Aerohive, and Cisco) and traffic capture techniques and software is also needed. A solid understanding of DHCP, VLANs, and SSH protocols is required.

Requirements

A minimum of 5-9 years previous work experience in related ITS area.
IT knowledge of computers, laptops, tablets, servers, mobile units, virtual machine environment.
Knowledge of networks (i.e.: Network Switches, TCP/IP, Packet Capture Software).
Knowledge of VMware and Microsoft Server environments.
Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory.
Experience Supporting O365 including Outlook and MS Teams.
Experience investigating and resolving help desk service requests and use of help desk software.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of VLAN concepts and configuration.

Must be Windows Operating Systems literate. Desktop and server.
Must have strong organizational skills to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.
Must have the ability to adapt to and work effectively and independently in a fast paced, multitasking environment.
Must be able to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency and completeness.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals throughout the company on departmental procedures, policies, and requests for information.
