About The Position
The Systems Analyst performs technical work to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems in order to automate clinical functions or improve existing information technology systems. The role develops the electronic medical record (EMR), ancillary applications, and related systems to meet user needs and regulatory standards. The analyst designs and builds within assigned applications and systems to support providers, staff, and patients, while helping ensure security and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent, or two years of work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of hands-on experience supporting LCMC Health legacy application systems, programming, and/or system integration support.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and install application upgrades and new implementations.
- Troubleshoot application issues and determine appropriate resolutions.
- Perform required maintenance tasks for assigned applications.
- Review and test changes in newly released software to ensure system integrity.
- Maintain documentation reflecting the current system state and system configurations.
- Prepare detailed programming and integration specifications as required.
- Meet project deadlines.
- Communicate progress and potential risks effectively to leadership and customers.
