About The Position

EASTCONN's Technology Solutions Division is looking for a multi-talented individual capable of supporting a variety of initiatives related to IT support, data services, and/or application development.

Requirements

Exceptional ability to learn new local and cloud-based system.
Acumen for analytical thinking.
Established experience in multiple areas of information technology.
A.S. degree or equivalent experience (4 years work experience in technology).

Nice To Haves

Experience with CHAT-GPT or other intelligent systems.
Experience with eGAMING.
Experience with makerspace equipment and/or manufacturing equipment (laser cutters, 3d printers, machine tools, CAD-CAM, STL generation, slicing, etc.).
Experience with MDM (JAMF).
Experience with full stack programming (LAMP).
Experience with any programming.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with Filemaker Pro.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of system administration duties on database, application, and other servers including install, debug, maintain, upgrade, and general support.
Evaluate, test, and deploy software and hardware.
Proactive monitoring of servers, applications and services.
Perform regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries.
Work closely with the IT team to provide end-user support and issue resolution for EASTCONN and for for external customers.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging server tools and technologies.
Research, evaluate and recommend system technologies to support educational/business requirements.
Create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures.
Other tasks as assigned.
