About The Position

Nest Health is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to own the end-user experience for Nest's Louisiana footprint. This role serves as the primary on-site presence for the New Orleans office and other LA sites, managing hardware, connectivity, setup, and providing in-person support. Additionally, the administrator will provide remote multi-tier support to employees company-wide. The position involves managing the multi-vendor end-user stack, including identity lifecycle management across Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, endpoint management and device health through Intune and RMM, and asset inventory and lifecycle management. A key aspect of the role is driving automation to scale the IT infrastructure with growth, scripting repetitive tasks and developing self-service options using tools like PowerShell and Power Automate. The administrator will also be responsible for endpoint security and compliance, including phishing-resistant authentication, Conditional Access, least privilege, and device compliance, while partnering with the Security & Compliance team on the SOC 2 program. This role requires a proactive approach to documentation and knowledge management for the Louisiana IT domain.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years in internal, customer-facing IT operations.
  • 2+ years each on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
  • 2+ years with Intune (compliance, config profiles, app deployment).
  • 2+ years with Windows/macOS/iOS support.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Power Automate, or similar scripting/automation tools.
  • Experience with AI-assisted automation and AI-assisted support workflows.
  • Comfort with both in-person device issue resolution and remote distributed support models.
  • Organization skills for assets, staging, and lifecycle across physical sites.
  • Fluency in endpoint security: Conditional Access, MFA, least privilege, device compliance, and password-less authentication.
  • Solid fundamentals in endpoint management, networking, and IT operations best practices.
  • Experience supporting hybrid and distributed teams.
  • 3+ years hands-on with help desk and RMM tooling.
  • Resides in the New Orleans metro (Orleans / Jefferson Parish) and can be on-site at the New Orleans office at least weekly.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Bachelors in IT, CS, Information Systems; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-user experience for Nest's Louisiana footprint, serving as the primary on-site presence for the New Orleans office and LA sites.
  • Manage hardware, connectivity, setup, and provide in-person support for Louisiana sites.
  • Provide remote multi-tier support to employees company-wide.
  • Own the multi-vendor end-user stack, including identity lifecycle (joiner-mover-leaver) across Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
  • Manage endpoint management, patching, and device health through Intune and RMM.
  • Oversee asset inventory and lifecycle company-wide, with hands-on staging and repair for LA sites.
  • Develop and implement automation to scale the IT infrastructure, scripting repetitive tasks and creating self-service options.
  • Own security and compliance at the endpoint, including authentication, Conditional Access, least privilege, and device compliance.
  • Partner with Security & Compliance on the SOC 2 program, including audits, evidence, and remediation.
  • Act as Knowledge Steward for the Louisiana IT domain, ensuring documentation is current and trustworthy.
