A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR INTERN Start with a team meeting to discuss ongoing projects and daily tasks. Assist in installing and configuring PC, server, and network hardware. Support the IT team in monitoring and addressing any issues that arise. Document technology configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical support to end-users, resolving computer and network-related issues. Collaborate with team members on upgrades and optimization projects. Engage with experienced IT professionals. Review the day's accomplishments and prepare for the next day's tasks. Throughout the day, you'll have opportunities to learn, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop your skills in a supportive environment. It's a great way to kickstart your IT career!

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in IT, System Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with technology hardware (servers, routers, switches, firewalls) and associated software, Windows operating systems, and hardware virtualization technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will need reliable transportation with the ability to travel to remote sites on occasion.
