Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Two years’ experience as a Lead Network Administrator for database system support.
One year of CITRIX support experience.
Experience with and demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting.
LAN, WAN, computer hardware and software.
Successfully pass any background check and/or drug test required on the contract.
Ability to obtain & maintain valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Managing and supporting the Center’s LAN/WAN network infrastructure and systems.
Ensuring system availability, reliability, security, and optimization
Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, PCs, printers, scanners, network devices, and peripheral equipment.
Managing Windows Server environments, backups, imaging procedures, and system integrity
Providing help desk support and technical assistance to staff and students.
Monitoring software licensing, updates, system currency, and technology compliance.
Developing, testing, and modifying systems or programs to support operational needs.
Leading systems-related project planning, performance management, and security reviews.
Recommending hardware/software improvements and long-term technology solutions.
Serving as the Center’s primary liaison with the DOL Job Corps Data Center (JCDC).
