About The Position

The Network & Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s network infrastructure, systems, hardware, software, and enterprise applications. This role ensures the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of business-critical systems across the Corporate Headquarters and Fulfillment Center environments, supporting both daily operations and long-term infrastructure needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar study required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive “hands-on” network and systems administration.
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and administering cloud-based infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including switching, routing, routing protocols, network security, load balancing, SSL/TLS, VPN and point-to-point connectivity.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft technologies and platforms, including Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, DNS, etc.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, etc.), Slack and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of hardware and software asset management and licensing administration.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, including design, implementation, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of IT security technologies and best practices.
  • Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Experience participating in or supporting enterprise-level IT projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of mission-critical network and systems infrastructure across the Corporate Headquarters and Fulfillment Center environments.
  • Monitor, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, software, network and systems environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure and applications.
  • Apply firmware, software, and security updates to network and infrastructure systems.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories and licensing records.
  • Develop and maintain automation processes for employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Establish and maintain standardized system baselines for efficient deployment and lifecycle management of computing assets.
  • Plan, implement, maintain, and improve network, hardware, software, and security standards and best practices.
  • Support and strengthen cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus, email security, IDS/IPS systems, and access management.
  • Maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response procedures and documentation.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support across all support tiers as needed.
  • Train and support internal team members on existing and emerging technologies, processes, and security best practices.
  • Stay current with evolving infrastructure, cloud, and systems administration technologies and recommend improvements and modernization opportunities.
  • Partner with IT vendors and service providers to support infrastructure operations and projects.
  • Provide regular status updates on active tasks, projects, and operational initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
