About The Position

Our IT Systems Administrator provides a high level of user support and customer service to team members and residents, ranging from general application support to troubleshooting complex technical issues. This role supports daily IT operations, participates in technology projects, assists with system upgrades and device deployments, and helps safeguard our network, systems, and users. The IT Systems Administrator works closely with Corporate IT while also managing assigned work independently, prioritizing requests, and communicating progress, risks, and support needs in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience in the field.
  • Experience with multiple operating environments (including Windows and Mac OS).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong understanding of technology in a business environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with employees in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership of assigned tasks and project work, manage priorities, and communicate progress, risks, and support needs in a timely manner.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Experience with computer networking.
  • Local travel between WA communities; Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's in Information Systems or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically.
  • Diagnoses and resolve network connectivity issues affecting residents and staff.
  • Supports and participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, device deployments, migrations, documentation efforts, and other technology initiatives as assigned.
  • Researches questions using available resources & redirect when appropriate.
  • Follows standard help desk procedures, including logging of all helpdesk interactions.
  • Identifies and escalates situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Prepares activity reports, document internal procedures, file, and provide general assistance to IT department personnel as directed by leadership.
  • Keeps current with system information, changes, and updates.
  • Provides scheduled on-call and after-hours technical coverage.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
