About The Position

The IT/System Support Internship will allow you to gain hands-on experience working on meaningful projects, network with IT/System support across the organization, and learn what it is like to be an IT/ system support at KZValve while making a lasting impact and developing lifelong skills to elevate your future career. This position focuses on providing administrative and technical support for the sites knowledge workers, performing general IT technical support tasks as assigned, and assisting the IT/System team with workload distribution and applicable project work.

Requirements

• Working knowledge/experience with Desktop and Laptop repair
• Demonstrated experience with Active Directory
• Ability to rack and configure network/server hardware.
• Scrum and Project Planning participation

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education and/or training in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Solid communication skills, written and verbal.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting ability and skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT team providing end user support for hardware problems with a variety of devices including computers, printers, and other devices.
• Assist the IT team providing end user support for software problems including operating systems, application software and productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office 365.
• Aid users in person or via phone, email, and Teams
• Assist in organizing and maintaining IT systems
• Support the IT team creating and updating systems documentation for users
• Support the IT team in other projects as needed.
