About The Position

The IT Systems Administrator will be based in the Plano, TX Office and will not be a remote work position. This role requires a strong understanding of IT functions, networking systems management, and the operations related to computer networks. The administrator will be responsible for daily system monitoring, maintaining servers for standard Internet services, managing cloud services, and resolving a wide range of system issues. The position also involves analyzing systems, recommending upgrades, managing patches, and participating in change management and root cause analysis. Familiarity with Data Center Technologies, Network Infrastructure, cloud technologies (Azure, FortiManager Cloud, Office 365), PSTN and PBX technologies (Teams integration), and mobile device management is crucial. The role requires maintaining professional relationships, providing advice on complex issues, managing technical projects, and ensuring effective delivery of networks and disaster recovery systems. Confidentiality, consistent attendance, and adherence to all relevant regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, Private Insurance) are essential. Travel may be required for on-site troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Services or Computer Management preferred, and at least five to seven years of related experience managing system operations, or equivalent combination of education and healthcare experience.
  • Sound understanding of IT functions, networking systems management, and the operations related to computer networks.
  • Sound understanding of the information technology environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology.
  • Familiar with a variety of healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient with Office 365 and Azure.
  • Very familiar with DMARC, DKIM, and SPF configuration.
  • Familiar with cloud technologies (Azure, FortiManager Cloud, Office 365).
  • Experienced with PSTN and PBX technologies (Teams integration).
  • Maintains a professional relationship with Senior leadership.
  • Regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving complex issues.
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department.
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements.
  • Knowledgeable with troubleshooting, managing, and activating mobile devices.
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Maintain servers for standard Internet services such as DNS, NFS, DHCP, Group Policy, printing, and FTP service, etc.
  • Maintains cloud services for email, mobile device management (Intune), application, and configuration policies.
  • Resolve a wide range of system issues, troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues, and addressing trouble tickets and service tasks.
  • Analyzes systems and recommends upgrades/changes; manage the distribution of patches and software releases as needed.
  • Manages system trouble shooting, monitoring tools, alarm conditions as well as escalation processes and procedures.
  • Assesses organization's current and future system needs.
  • Participates in change management and root cause analysis and interface with field operations, equipment vendors, and network service providers.
  • Assist in troubleshooting Data Center issues.
  • Manages technical projects in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensures effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster recovery systems and processes.
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
