About The Position
CACI is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our dynamic team dedicated to providing comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). Your expertise will be vital in ensuring warfighting readiness by enhancing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of deployed and future TIGS SoS.
Requirements
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance and obtain SCI.
- Strong experience with VMware ESXi and vSphere.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with private cloud platforms such as OpenShift.
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Nice To Haves
- An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- Expert-level knowledge of VMware vSphere 8.x, vSAN, and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall management (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Utilize systems analysis techniques and procedures to resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems across servers, storage, network connectivity, and user systems.
- Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure environments.
- Establish and maintain security protocols and user access controls.
- Apply security patches and perform operating system upgrades to ensure system integrity.
- Monitor and ensure the appropriate function of hardware, software, and system specifications.
- Support planning, implementation, and deployment of new infrastructure projects.
- Maintain security standards across the technical environment.
- Document all configuration changes and system specifications for assigned infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain optimal infrastructure performance and availability.
