The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the firm’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. This role ensures system reliability, security, and performance while supporting business operations and compliance requirements. This position supports remote work arrangements. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Up to 5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure roles
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization technologies
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, CompTIA Network+, VMware) preferred

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and network devices
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and efficiency
Manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect firm data
Administer cloud-based services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure) and virtual environments
Optimize resource allocation and scalability for business needs
Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans
Ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures
Provide Level 3 support for escalated technical issues
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures
