About The Position

This role involves providing essential IT support to users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various IT components. The position also requires inventory management, security monitoring, and user training. Maintaining open communication and positive working relationships with staff is crucial, as is supporting park applications, operating systems, and other software. The role may also involve other assigned duties and projects.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in the field of information systems
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, basic networking and POS concepts
  • A basic understanding of computer network cabling and network file and print services
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time
  • Strong oral and written communications skills in English
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and promote strong internal and external relationships
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must be able to bend, lift, carry and perform other duties involved in installing and checking hardware

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user requests for support
  • Maintain and routinely service all hardware and software
  • Hardware, software, network and OS installations and repair
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware and network problems
  • Inventory computer and network hardware/software
  • Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses
  • Perform routine audits of all systems and all departments to investigate and repair any potential problems
  • Maintenance of phone systems (analog)
  • Provide training to users as they come aboard and/or new applications as they are inducted
  • Maintain open communication and positive working relationship with staff
  • Support Park Applications, Operating Systems, MS Office and other programs
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned
