About The Position

Arcfield is seeking a qualified individual for an IT Help Desk Support Technician on-site supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). This role involves providing support for Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity requirements and ensuring the security of information systems.

Requirements

High school diploma and 4-5 years of experience.
Active Secret-level security clearance.

Nice To Haves

CompTIA Security+ CE
Experience in reimaging and patching
Experience in Linux
Define test strategies including functional, non-functional, regression, automation, security, and performance testing
Clear understanding of computer hardware
Military or Government Experience

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills to deliver technical and product support.
Demonstrate proficiency in information technology and operations management.
Gather feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Support special projects related to client support and operations.
Collaborate with development teams to enhance overall processes.
Liaise with external vendors as needed.
Attend all applicable meetings and provide feedback when prompted.
Work independently on problems and projects.
Exhibit attention to detail in planning, preparing, and developing procedures, process documents, and other forms of documentation.
Utilize working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems; assist with the maintenance and administration of applications.
Train clients to resolve routine/minor hardware and software problems; guide users in the development and use of OS computer-assisted and managed technology.
Learn new and existing technologies and be a contributing member of a Technical Team.
