About The Position

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to join their growing IT team. This new position will be based onsite at one of their Texas clinics and will serve as the primary in-person IT support for clinical staff in Texas and surrounding clinic operations. The role involves day-to-day troubleshooting, managing device deployments, supporting onboarding/offboarding, ensuring technology runs smoothly, and contributing to IT projects.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Basic understanding of networking: LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS
  • Experience with device management
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a fast-paced, patient-driven environment
  • Ability to travel up to 80% across clinic locations as required
  • Being onsite during business/clinic hours
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting users in a multi-location or clinical environment preferred
  • Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA)
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting clinic or medical office technology

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person IT support to staff in Texas, Arizona, Georgia, and other surrounding clinic locations as they open
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Configure, image, and deploy workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, device provisioning, and day-1 IT orientation
  • Manage support tickets, maintaining SLA compliance and documentation standards
  • Assist with MDM enrollment, compliance monitoring, and patch management
  • Assist with setup and future support for new clinic openings
  • Conduct user training on IT tools, security awareness, and self-service portal usage
  • Coordinate with the network and security teams on escalated issues and IT projects
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets
  • Adhere to HIPAA requirements and internal data security policies
  • Other related IT support duties as assigned
