Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of IT support experience or equivalent technical training.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, troubleshooting, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests while providing exceptional customer service.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to remote MedFlight locations as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree, technical training, or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Windows Server administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, and basic networking equipment.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or VMware certifications.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests through our help desk, delivering friendly and timely customer service.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
- Support technology used at our corporate offices, remote bases, and emergency response vehicles.
- Install software, perform system upgrades, and ensure devices remain secure and up to date.
- Document support requests, technical resolutions, equipment deployments, and inventory within our ticketing system.
- Assist with hardware procurement, asset management, and lifecycle planning.
- Travel to MedFlight and MedCare locations to provide onsite technical support as needed.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve system reliability, strengthen security, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist in supporting Windows Server environments, virtualization technologies, backups, and network infrastructure.
