About The Position

Superheat is seeking a talented, innovative, and enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our team in Kincardine. This role will provide end-user support to employees, contributing to Superheat's commitment to advancing heat treatment. The ideal candidate will share our passion for continually pushing the industry forward.

Requirements

  • Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Office 365, and Azure.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • At least 1 year of experience providing computer network support
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Windows based Environment

Nice To Haves

  • Network Certificates/Qualifications would be an asset
  • Certifications are an asset
  • Experience with Cloud services and Infrastructure would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting support to Superheat employees
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform data backups and recovery operations
  • Collaborate with teams in testing, application, and training of personnel
  • Produce documentation that assists others in troubleshooting
  • Set up local area networks and internet connections
  • Evaluate and optimize the performance of computers and network systems
  • Create procedures and policies based on Superheat FGH requirements
  • Maintain materials and documentation that will assist personnel in troubleshooting
  • Create training documentation
  • Make recommendations for changes to senior management
  • Act as a liaison between departments to assist in resolution
