About The Position

The IT Support Technician provides technical support across end-user assistance, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and departmental initiatives intended to improve efficiency and scalability. The role supports employees and customers, maintains IT hardware and software, and helps implement and manage systems and services. This is a full-time, exempt, in-person office position at the Renton location, typically Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications.
Four to five years of professional experience in IT support or a related technical role.
Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Demonstrated experience in a help desk or technical support role.
Experience managing Windows Active Directory infrastructure.
Working knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and related IT products.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
Positive, proactive, collaborative, adaptable, agile, and detail-oriented approach, with ownership of work quality and commitment to learning and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide IT technical support to employees and customers.
Use a ticketing system to manage support requests.
Keep documentation of hardware and software assets up to date.
Specify, order, and configure IT equipment, including PCs, servers, switches, and routers.
Develop and deploy standardized computer images and software packages.
Maintain Active Directory objects and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Support Microsoft 365 cloud services, including Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
Identify, propose, and implement initiatives to improve efficiency.
