About The Position

Hendricks Power Cooperative is seeking an IT Support & Systems Administrator to join their technology team in Avon, Indiana. This role is crucial for supporting employees, maintaining technology systems, and ensuring reliable and secure operations across the Cooperative. The position involves providing daily technical assistance, setup, troubleshooting, and support for technology equipment and software. It also includes administering and securing cloud-based services, maintaining system documentation and inventory, assisting with disaster recovery and business continuity, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and participating in technology upgrades and improvements. Occasional after-hours IT incident response may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience providing PC, network and end-user support.
  • 3+ years of experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange, Intune and Entra.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering positive customer service and technical support.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information.
  • Strong troubleshooting, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift, carry, move up to 30 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Advanced proficiency and acumen with technology hardware and software.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, monitoring or security best practices.

Responsibilities
